Aparna Narang is the Director of Short-Term Electric Supply at Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E). She leads procurement of over $3Bn annually in the short-term electricity markets to meet demand. Her team is also responsible for 24 x 7 dispatch communications for over 20,000 MW, including renewable energy and energy storage. Prior to joining PG&E in 2010, Aparna worked in the wind energy industry developing projects and project managing construction in North America. Aparna has a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering and Environmental Studies from Tufts University and a MBA from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.
