Since time immemorial, innovations and inventions have changed the world in which we live have a made a lasting impact upon society. Similarly,

if you think your invention has the capability to impact society,

if you think that you will be able to make a difference to the overall business case of microgrids,

if you think that your new microgrid technology could be the key to a sustainable future, do apply to Tech Soap Box now.

The need to constantly innovate gave rise to one of Microgrid Forum’s highlights, the Tech Soap Box segment. Dufresne’s Microgrid Forum will provide successful networking and a learning platform covering all aspects of the value chain. The first Microgrid Forums will take place in Amsterdam (Europe) and Singapore (Asia).

The Tech Soap Box session is a unique feature of the Forum and is designed to evaluate and promote newly patented microgrid solutions.  4 speakers will closely examine and compare the advantages and disadvantages of different energy storage technologies in a unique setting, all within the time limit of 10 minutes. The audience will then evaluate the best one and the winner will benefit from a worldwide media exposure and a full speaking slot at our next Forum.

Application to be a speaker for the Microgrid Forums’ 2013 Tech Soap Box session is now open. If you represent a start-up or a new company which has an innovative microgrid solution to share, click here to apply.

If you want to know more about this and other topics directly from end users of energy storage technologies join us at one of these annual events: The Energy Storage World Forum (Grid Scale Applications), or The Residential Energy Storage Forum, or one of our Training Courses.
