Charge Your Remote Control With Your Window
Solar energy storage can be much closer to home than we think. In fact, it’s staring back at us when we gaze out of the window.
So much solar energy pours through our windows every day, but none of it is captured and stored. So Australian company DyeSol is partnering with Singapore-based company Printed Power to design solar cells that be fitted in metal and glass products at home or in your car to capture and store that otherwise wasted solar energy.
Such a project is not aimed at large-scale generation and storage for now, but rather geared towards creating autonomous self-powered devices.
If you want to know more about this and other topics directly from end users of energy storage technologies join us at one of these annual events: The Energy Storage World Forum (Grid Scale Applications), or The Residential Energy Storage Forum, or one of our Training Courses.
