Electricity Storage Association Integrates Storage With Grid
The Electricity Storage Association (ESA) will be connecting more electricity storage to the grid.
In a formal announcement in Washington D.C., Brad Roberts, the Executive Director of ESA, explained the move, “we’ve seen a dramatic increase in interest across the country– especially the California Public Utilities Commission decisions– to use energy storage to make our electric grid more reliable and cost effective.”
According to Roberts, electricity storage will enable the grid to be resilient, efficient, clean and cost-effective, especially important for the 21st century grid.
