Cent Percent Growth Expected In Energy Storage Industry

According to recent a research report, the energy storage market is set to go sky-high within the next four years. The report, published by IMS Research, reveals that the industry will skyrocket from approximately $200 million in 2012, to about $19 billion by 2017.

The electronics industry market research provider states that, as renewable sources of energy continue to contribute to the grid, energy storage will steadily gain popularity; especially since harnessing the energy coming from these sources is very difficult, energy storage will continue to be an area watched keenly in the market.
