Develop Consistent Energy Policy Approach: GCEE
The Annual Report recently presented by the German Council of Economic Experts (GCEE) highlighted inconsistencies in the renewable energy sector policies. The report, for the year 2013-2014, thus called for a temporary freeze of the Renewable Energy Sources Act.
Other points that were discussed in the report, include necessary grid expansion and restructuring, as well as reducing the costs of renewable growth and creating an electricity market framework so that conventional (back-up) capacities can be maintained and even extended without making use of state subsidies.
If you want to know more about this and other topics directly from end users of energy storage technologies join us at one of these annual events: The Energy Storage World Forum (Grid Scale Applications), or The Residential Energy Storage Forum, or one of our Training Courses.
