International Alliance Established To Boost Energy Storage

The International Battery and Energy Storage Alliance (IBESA), formed by the International PV Equipment Association (IPVEA), aims to bring together solar, electrical energy storage, and smart grid technologies companies from around the world. The alliance will focus primarily on solar and PV storage, as the PV market is set to be worth $19 billion by 2017.

The IBESA will also be a platform for networking, sharing resources and information, and a stepping stone to new markets. Some 70 IPVEA members are already included in the IBESA.
