Andrew has a diverse background in energy markets innovation, renewable energy technology start-up, and investment research.
Presently, he leads Monash University’s efforts to implement and commercialise a 2-way transactive energy market structure which facilitates and rewards DER’s for the provision of flexibility services.
The transactive market sits within the University Microgrid and is being designed with a vision of creating frameworks and platforms for broader adoption in multiple precinct contexts.
Monash University is committed to reducing its carbon footprint to a net zero position by 2030.
If you want to know more about this and other topics directly from end users of energy storage technologies join us at one of these annual events: The Energy Storage World Forum (Grid Scale Applications), or The Residential Energy Storage Forum, or one of our Training Courses.
