Anne Pellegrino

Over the last 17 years Anne has acquired significant leadership experience in the area of energy management.

She has a passion for the energy sector and particularly helping consumers gain more energy independence through solar PV and battery storage and energy efficiency actions. She has managed solar PV and storage projects, provided economic and technical advice to governments, community and private sectors, designed and delivered energy efficiency programs and sat on boards.

Prior to founding Pellegreen, she held Executive level roles at Ecovantage and Energetics Pty Ltd, including leading the Government Policy and Demand Management practice. Anne provided strategic advice into the design of the ACT’s Energy Efficiency Incentive Scheme and led a team of experts in the areas of energy efficiency, demand management, embedded/renewables, carbon management, procurement, sustainability, and green buildings.

Anne commenced her career in the public service. It was during her stint on the International Energy Agency’s desk at the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade that her passion for the energy sector was ignited.

Before joining the private sector Anne was an Assistant Secretary with the Federal government’s Department of Energy and Environment and advisor at the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet.

Anne is a Graduate of the Executive MBA Program from the Australian Graduate School of Management, University of NSW, and holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the Australian National University.

Anne has served on the Board of Sustainable Business Australia, is currently on the Board of the CIT Renewable Energy Centre for Excellence, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
