Benjamin Weise

Ben is the Chief Technology Officer of the Battery Storage and Grid Integration Program at the Australian National University, where he develops industry-focussed solutions for the smarter use of distributed energy resources to increase the penetration of renewables and ensure network security. Prior to this position, he developed optimisation, control and co-ordination software for smart energy systems at Reposit Power.

Prior to his involvement in the energy industry, Ben worked in the technology and Government sectors, developing and applying analysis solutions to big data and intelligence problems. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics and a Master of Engineering from the Australian National University.
