Forum Topic: “Analysing The Revenue Generated By Different Services In A Multi Stacking Scenario To Create A Profitable Business Model”
Christophe Banos serves as New Technologies Development lead for EDF Renewables in the UK responsible for grid-scale battery storage developments from origination to financial close. He has worked for EDF for 15 years covering different asset-class such as Biomass, Offshore Wind and Wave and Tidal development opportunities.
His most notable achievement was to bring from concept to reality one of the world’s largest battery storage project – the 49MW West Burton Battery – leading a team of experts to secure a highly sought-after Enhanced Frequency Response contract form National Grid. This ground-breaking project has been a real testament to global collaboration across EDF Group in several key disciplines – from R&D to complex Electrical Engineering and Financial Modelling – enabling to unlock a myriad of opportunities for energy storage use cases in the UK and further afield to lead the transition to a low-carbon future.
Christophe holds a MEng in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College London. He has completed several professional Project Management and Financial Modelling courses. He is a dual French/British national and speaks fluently English, French and Spanish.
