David Safar

David studied Electrical Power Engineering at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. Since 2009 he has been active in E.ON company, during this time he has taken several senior management positions and he has taken important roles in important international strategic projects in the field of Energy Network and Customer Energy Solution. He has become head of department Grid Management and Strategic projects at company E.ON Distribuce, a.s. in 2018. His main task is to lead a team which is responsible for fulfill the company´s strategic goals and visions in key areas such as the Distribution Grid concept development, ensuring the quality and reliability of energy supply, developing Smart Grid, Smart metering, Smart Asset Management and e-mobility.
