Erik is with the German DSO Westnetz and deputy head of (SCADA-) System development. Besides he supports R&D on flexibility, SCADA and grids.
Formerly he was a Senior Expert of Energy Storage for RWE, pursuing technology assessment, system studies and tech-roadmapping. He led a committee of the European Association of Energy Storage and their Working Group on storage demand. Prior he was deputy head of grid operations in chemical industries. He received a PHD-degree concerning decentralised µCHP.
Erik is 41 years old and married with children. He speaks German, English a bit of French and some Polish.
