Biography
Friedrich Kunz is Advisor for market design in the unit “Customers and Markets” at TenneT. His focus is in particular on the market design for an integrated and decarbonized energy system. Among others, he takes part in the ELEMENT EINS project to gain more insights on coupling infrastructures. Until 2017, Friedrich Kunz worked as a research associate and project manager at the German institute for economic research (DIW Berlin) and published his academic work in various established journals. He holds a PhD in energy economics and a university degree in industrial engineering from Technical University Dresden.
