Biography
Ismini begun working at UK Power Networks in 2014 when she joined the Innovation Team. Since then, she has been involved in a number of innovation projects focusing on low voltage fault management, network monitoring, safety for overhead lines, fluid-filled cables and more recently electric vehicles.
Her current project management portfolio include the following projects: Domestic Energy Storage and Control (DESC), Smart Electric Urban Logistics, Pressurised Cable Active Control and Monitoring and LV Underground Faults.
Ismini has a MEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a MSc in Sustainable Energy and Environment from Cardiff University. Following her graduation from her MSc, she commenced her career working as a Research & Development Thermoelectric Module Engineer at European Thermodynamics Limited working on innovation projects focusing on thermoelectric generation and energy efficiency.
