Kate is a Research Manager at the CSIRO Energy Centre. She leads Stakeholder Engagement in a national energy data project addressing the acquisition, management and use of big data to provide valuable insights in the Australian energy sector.
A member of the Grids & Energy Efficiency Systems research programme leadership team, Kate is also the Quality Manager of the National HVAC Performance Testing Facility.
She has experience in development of large science programs for the integration of renewable energy into the Australian electricity grid and with previous experience as a chemist, Kate has authored energy storage technology reports focused in the Australian context from residential stationary storage to grid scale support.
