Over the past 30 years of his career, he has built exceptionally strong credentials in the design of versatile, cost-effective and energy-efficient data centre infrastructures.
During his time with Interxion he has pioneered several new approaches to data centre design and management, including the improvement of power ratio efficiency between server load and transformer load, and the industry’s first ever modular approach to data centre architecture.
Lex is Visiting Professor at the University of East London working on the datacentre challenges on Sustainability and Energy efficiency, further Lex is Board member of the Climate neutral datacentre Pact, Board member of the EUDCA, Stakeholder at the EUDCA Policy committee where he supports as a Stakeholder the EU JRC for the European Code of Conduct for datacentre efficiency and he is member of the iMasons Advisory Council .
