Mike Longson

Mr. Longson is responsible for tracking global energy storage installations and supporting the team’s coverage of this quickly developing market. Prior to joining IHS Markit, he was an Operations Controller for a Gas and Power Management company based in Cambridge, managing large gas and power portfolios across Europe for three years. He graduated from Heriot-Watt University with a chemical engineering degree and is working toward a master’s degree in Renewable Energy with Newcastle University, United Kingdom.
