Rosario Polito

Rosario Polito obtained an M.Sc in Electrical Engineering form the University of Naples Federico II in 2009. After gaining work experience in the field of renewables and electric systems designing as a project engineer, concurrently the first year of Ph.D. School in Power Converter, Electric Machine and Electric Drives, he joined Italian TSO Terna as an analyst in the Dispatching and Energy Operation Department, specializing on the Italian Energy Market and Ancillary Services Market.

In 2013, he joined Terna Storage, another subsidiary of the Terna Group, whose mission focuses on the realization of the ESSs project approved by the Italian Regulator. He then became the project leader responsible for ESS technologies and system operation, having the responsibility of the Energy Intensive ESS design and commissioning, including factory and site tests and the activation.
