“Tom Vandenberghe (1987) is energy manager at Delhaize Belgium, part of the Ahold Delhaize Group. His responsibilities include energy optimisation, procurement and storage for stores, warehouses and offices as well as business ownership of certain assets – such as high voltage, HVACR, lighting, solar panels, emergency generators, recharging stations for EV’s – and governing the KPI’s related to the companies climate goals.

Before entering a corporate career, Tom has been a mathematics teacher. He funded his education by working as a security guard during the weekends.”
