Beta Testing of Battery Management System

California’s IDS Industries, Inc. has successfully installed its first integrated Battery Management and Charge Controller system (BMCCS). The patent-pending system was set up at a dental office building in San Diego.

The company has started Beta testing of the BMCCS in conjunction with Lithium-Ion-based energy storage. The new technology allows IDS to integrate energy storage into a number of renewable energy sources, including wind and solar, as a result of a 32-bit micro-processor software platform. The technology promises to simplify the integration process greatly.
