Support For Energy Storage Projects Expands Rapidly
Last week, Texas-based startup Xtreme Power pulled in some $5.7 million from investors, surpassing the halfway mark of its $10 million target.
Xtreme also announced a new project with Samsung SDI, with plans to build a new 1-megawatt battery storage system in Lubbock, Texas Reese Technology Center.
This time however, Xtreme will not be supplying its solid-state battery technology. Instead, it’s integrating its software and control platform, Xtreme Active Control Technology (XACT), with Samsung’s lithium manganese oxide battery.
