Julian Kretz

Julian Kretz is Project Manager in Next Kraftwerke’s Innovation and Development Team. He joined the Virtual Power Plant nearly four years ago. Julian Kretz is working on the improvement of existing products linked to Virtual Power Plants as well as on the analysis of business cases, market design and regulatory framework related to market integration of renewable energies. Key subjects of his work is the ongoing harmonization of European Balancing Markets and integration of storage systems into the VPP. Julian Kretz holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and Engineering: Electrical Power Engineering from the RWTH Aachen.
