Australia Paranoid Of Energy Storage

You would think that Australia, with its cancer-causing sun rays, and the vast majority of its cities by the coast, would take advantage of solar and wave energy. But they just don’t.

Why? Most inhabitants are concerned about safety, with many unfortunate battery-related  incidents occurring lately. Fortunately, there are many other storage systems available today.

Liquid air, or cryogenic liquids, are starting to look promising. They reportedly cost less to compress air into liquid air with solar energy, and are as efficient as batteries.
