Another Promising Storage Technology Appears

Researchers at the Pennsylvania State University’s Materials Research Institute has announced the creation of a special glass that is slim, bendable, and able to store energy at high temperatures. The material is approximately 90% thinner than the glass used in displays and hence could have a broad range of applications, notably in photovoltaics, electric vehicles power electronics, wind turbine generators, and aerospace electronics.
