Ideal Power And LG Chem Collaborate On Battery Storage System – Energy Storage World Forum

Developer for power conversion systems Ideal Power Inc will work together with LG Chem Ltd, manufacturer of Li-ion batteries, to jointly market and sell their power conversion and energy storage products.

This collaboration will enable seamless integration and optimal system performance, hence meeting the demand for simple, paired sets of hardware for peak demand charge reduction and microgrid applications.

The collaboration also means that deployment of commercial and microgrid storage systems can be greatly sped up.

“Ideal Power’s technology is a perfect fit for our growing base of commercial and industrial customers who demand the highest quality and performance,” said LG Chem SVP Sunghoon Jang.
