FIT Programme For Mississauga

The Canadian government has installed Feed-In-Tariff (FIT) systems which will help pave the way for a ‘green’ future in the country. The FITs enable owners of building to install solar panels on their rooftops in order to store solar energy, and then feed it to the existing hydro grid.

The Secure Self Storage in Mississauga is taking full advantage of this initiative by announcing the installation of such a system in 2014. The system will utilise natural sunlight, which will be used to power homes in the area near the storage facility.
