Enter Storage With Germany’s Renewables More Than Doubling
In Germany last year, the share of energy that came from renewable sources rose to 23%, up from 9.3% in 2011, a significant jump in such a short span.
But while renewable energy generation has sped off like the hare, energy storage in comparison is the tortoise still at the starting line.
The German Trade & Invest has announced its plans for energy storage in a three-pronged approach; residential storage systems, integrating storage with the grid, and lastly finding a way to store summer’s excess for the cold winter months.
If you want to know more about this and other topics directly from end users of energy storage technologies join us at one of these annual events: The Energy Storage World Forum (Grid Scale Applications), or The Residential Energy Storage Forum, or one of our Training Courses.
