BUILDING THE ACTION PLAN
At the heart of our 10th Energy Storage Forum was helping business professionals attain unmatched key market and innovative technology insights, uncover new ways to drive their organization’s success and gain relevant business expertise with best practices and lessons learnt directly from 50 international renowned professionals, all the while interacting with like-minded market players during our networking sessions.
Understanding the dynamic and the nature of the industry, we have designed our unique brainstorming “BUILDING the ACTION PLAN” session tailored to our delegates’ real-time learning needs/critical challenges, thus taking the conference to the next level.
After listening to 24 presentations from top practitioners within the Utilities, TSOs and DSOs, Regulators and Researchers, our delegates wrote down more than 80 Energy Storage challenges and questions that were important to them and would like to have an answer to. Five of the questions were then presented in front of 44 International Market players. Parallel tailored discussions in five groups followed, where everyone was encouraged to engage and collaborate by sharing ideas, expertise and experience to tackle the particular challenge.
The 5 challenges were:
• How to best reduce costs of Energy Storage?
• How to make Energy Storage projects bankable?
• How to unlock new geographic markets?
• How to enable revenue stacking?
• How to define Energy Storage within regulatory frameworks?
Sharing insights and exchanging practical ideas with other thought leaders resulted in creating a viable tactics that could be immediately adapted to different context and business strategies. The solutions were presented in front of all the audience.
The “BAP” sessions allowed the participants to build relationships and get to know each other better, seize business opportunities, while facing the same challenge and come up with the common solution.
If you want to know more about this and other topics directly from end users of energy storage technologies join us at one of these annual events: The Energy Storage World Forum (Grid Scale Applications), or The Residential Energy Storage Forum, or one of our Training Courses.
