Hybrid Battery Amps Up Energy Storage
It will be be easier to store electricity in the near-future, thanks to a low-cost zinc hybrid cathode battery. The battery is able to integrate renewable energy production, as well as increase the electricity grid’s efficiency and resiliency. All this, while reducing costs for utilities and consumers of electricity alike.
The hybrid battery is able to store energy at a disruptive price, and can be recharged during off-peak periods, and used during peak demand. Developed by Eos Energy Storage, another massive advantage of the battery is that it has a lifespan of 30 years.
If you want to know more about this and other topics directly from end users of energy storage technologies join us at one of these annual events: The Energy Storage World Forum (Grid Scale Applications), or The Residential Energy Storage Forum, or one of our Training Courses.
