Interest In Solar Grows, As Does Production
The year 2014 will be a good one for solar, according to research conducted by an industry report. Investments in different aspects of solar are on the rise. This includes energy storage, soft cost reduction and innovative financing for residential solar.
In 2012, there were 100 gigawatts of installed solar projects. By 2014, PV production is predicted to rise 10 gigawatts, exceeding the production of 39.7 gigawatt of PV produced in 2012. Of these, most of the projects are expected to be multicyrstalline silicon-based PV.
